function in WordPress to import XML file from URL

i have +3000 XML files that each one of them have 2000 posts inside
now i want to restore 5 file to my WordPress website every day

my problem is i can’t find a way to upload XML file with PHP program
what i need is function in WordPress to import XML file from URL
